
The O.C. Barber Mansion when completed in 1910, was considered to be the
finest mansion between New York and Chicago. This beautiful French
Renaissance Revival structure sat on the second highest point in southern
Summit County and looked west toward the City of Barberton. The Mansion was
completed in 1910 at a cost of $400,000. Adjusted for inflation, that would
be like spending over $6 million in terms of our money. The Mansion was
