Grant Smith

Passed Away: June 19, 2003

*Our hearts go out to the Smith family. We know the pain you feel. To lose a child is the worst thing to happen to a parent. We are very sorry. With love, The Hoover family.

*Grant was a nice person. Remember him for who he was and not how he died. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Life is short and we all are just passing through. My heart goes out to his family. What a great loss. God bless, with love and broken hearted cause of another young person gone too soon. Love, The Hoover family.

*Grant and I had drifted a little since school but we still hung out every now and then. I the last time i saw Grant was Wendnesday night before he went back to T.J's It was such a shock to get that dreadful phone call the next morning. It was only 6 months ago i went through the same thing. But it's nice to remember the goofy look he had on his face. He always had that goofy look. We were real close in middle school. Every class we had together we would sit next to each other. He never payed any attention he would just sit there and scecth and we would giggle and get in so much trouble. In Mrs. Richmonds class we got into so much trouble that she put us both in the far back so we could carry on and not disturb anyone. And through Grant I met one of the best friends I ever had...Shea. After Grant moved on to High School and i got left behind for getting into too much trouble I started to hang out with Shea. She would come over everyday and we would got to school together. We were late quite a few times. God i remember Joy would get so mad at us. The Smith family was good friends of mine and I'm sorry we drifted apart. All of you are in my prayers and i feel your pain and i am so sorry you all have to go through this. But he is in a better place with no death, pain, or problems. And he took a peice of all of you with him. He was a great friend and a funny guy i will truely miss him Aubrey Berkley

*Happy 24th Birthday Grant
