My mother started out working in the Barberton High School Cafeteria but was mostly know in the Barberton School system as the head cook at Memorial. She worked at Loyal Oak Lake Park and Craftsman Park in the summers. She also volunteered at her church, First Evangelical Lutheran and was active in 60 Plussers. Most of the kids who knew her, thought of her as their grandma. Since she didn't have grandchildren, I was very thankful for that. She was loved by so many, that it's understandable why she'll be missed for years to come.
