Passed Away: January 10, 2001

Enlisted In USN and served in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Married Ann M. Pope November 8, 1944. Raised 4 Children (2 boys and 2 girls). He became a DC Fireman in 1951. He rose to the rank of Battalion Chief prior to retirement in 1976. After retirement he studied and received an Associates Degree with honors from Northern Virginia Community College. His wit and presence is missed by his wife, children, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
