Passed Away: Jan 23, 2001

My father moved from Barberton to Dunedin, Fl in 1958 where he joined the Fire Dept. He later became a paramedic, and retired as the Pinellas County Paramedic Administrator. Not being one for retirement he pursued his dream of working with children and with his wife Ginny became an ordained minister and then proceeded to spread the message of God's love to hurting kids everywhere but mainly in the migrant camps of Plant City, Florida. As he fought his battle with cancer he never stopped helping the kids and stayed active till the end. As he said "I'm going out with my boots on". And he did, on Jan 23, 2001 my dad moved to heaven where he is probably coaching some celestial football team. He loved his home town of Barberton and adored his beloved Magics of which he would go on endlessly with stories of his growing-up years there. I miss him.
