Edna Mae Blanar-Scott was born in Barberton, Ohio on September 13, 1928. Edna graduated Barberton High School in 1946 and Kent State University in 1955 with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She taught at Mason Elementary School in Akron and invested her life as a devoted wife of 49 years, mother of 3 and grandmother of 9.

She was my aunt and I will miss her dearly.
