Paul was a member of the National Honor society, He was editor of The Magician 1946, After graduation he served in Korea. He worked for the Barberton Post office .

He was laid to rest as requested with his Family in Hancock,Michigan

Though his Earthly means were small,
He left a legacy to us all,
His eyes that through them we might see,
How truly glorious life can be,
His heart that we might better meet,
Life's battles with a steadier beat,
And best of all dreams left to grow,
In the minds of those that he loved so.
