Wanda Iola Wiley was born into a close and loving family of six children on April 18, 1933 to Alda Glenn and Wilda Margeurite Riley in Akron, Ohio. She passed away February 14, 2008 of a brain meningioma at the age of 74.

In 1951 she graduated from Barberton High School and in 1951 she married Marvin Wiley.

She was preceded in death by brothers: Glenn and Marvin; sisters: Arlene and Shirley, and son-in-law Larry. She is survived by a son, Gene (Judy) Wiley of Aloha, Oregon; daughters: Susan (Gary) Thompson of Eugene, Oregon; Michele (Ken) Potts of Lahaina, Maui; and Carol Albas of Carefree, Arizona, three grandchildren: Jason Thompson, Jennifer Harris and Vincent Albas; five great-grandchildren, one brother James Riley of Wadsworth, Ohio.
