BARBERTON -- Matthew L. Lippincott, 55, passed away October 8, 2007.

Matt was born July 4, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to Edgar and Nell Lippincott. He was a graduate of Barberton High School class of 1971 and went on to graduate from National Tool and Die. Matt worked for several companies including Liniform, Practical Machine, Desenco, Reuther Mold and currently was employed at the Cosmo Corporation as a design engineer. Matt faithfully attended Emmanuel Christian Assembly and United Fellowship Campgrounds. Matt also loved to play the guitar.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Kathy of 31 years; son, Michael (Stephanie) Lippincott; daughter, Rachael Lippincott; brother, Mark Lippincott; sister, Lenore (John) Iglheart; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Sarah, Ethan and Anna.

He will be sadly missed by his friends and family and his "jam" buddies.

Friends may call at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, on Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 7 to 9 where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Bob Combs officiating.
