The O.C. Barber Piggery, as seen from U.L. Light's baseball field. The
Piggery was the last building built by O.C. Barber in 1912. This building
was built at a cost of $50,000. Adjusting this amount for inflation, it
would be like spending $750,000 in terms of our dollars today. The Piggery
is currently undergoing restoration and the current owner hopes to one day
turn this building into a restaurant. The Piggery is perhaps the fanciest of
the Anna Dean Farm buildings left today.
